This month marks World Glaucoma Week come 11th to 17th of March, to raise awareness about the sight threatening condition, glaucoma – the thief of sight!
This year’s theme is: Green for GO! … and have your eyes checked for Glaucoma.
Glaucoma causes progressive damage to the eyes as a result of increased eye pressure, without any warning signs until the disease process is already at an advanced stage. Early diagnosis and management of the eye pressure can reduce the damage caused and reduce the chances of full vision loss.
