What to do?

The most logical step would be to reduce screen time. Map out no-screen periods to enable the eye rest and reduce exposure to any damaging radiations/blue light. however, in cases where screen time is not negotiable, for instance if your job requires it of you, then our advice is this:

You must consult an Optometry doctor to have an eye assessment – this will reveal any unhealthy changes that may be found in your eye. This assessment will also reveal any problems with near vision and focusing, and then treatment plan can be proffered.

Finally, the eyes must always be protected whenever the digital device is to be used extensively. Computer glasses, protective eye wear are all available options that your Optometrist can provide for you.

Its a digital world now; stay safe – protect your eyes.
